For grown-ups

A free typing site for children aged 6 to 12. There is no account to make and no advertising, and nothing here asks your child for anything about themselves. This page says exactly what we do and do not collect. The short version: we cannot identify your child, because we never built anything that could.

We don't collect personal information

No name, email, birthday, address, phone number, location, photos, or voice recordings. There is no sign-up and no child login.

No ads or tracking

No advertising SDKs, no session replay, no cross-site tracking, and no persistent per-child identifiers.

What we store when a lesson ends

One anonymous record: which lesson, the reading language, how long it took, keystrokes, mistakes, accuracy, speed, and which keys were mistyped. Nothing else. No name, no IP address, no browser fingerprint, and no identifier that would let us tie two records to the same child. We read them to find out which lessons are too hard.

Read-aloud uses the browser

Words are spoken using your browser's built-in speech. No microphone is used and no audio is recorded. Typing works even if speech is off or unavailable.

Best on a real keyboard

Finger guidance is designed for physical keyboards (PC, Chromebook, Mac, or a tablet with an external keyboard).

See our privacy notice for details.
